About ONSSA

The Office National de Sécurité Sanitaire des Produits Alimentaires (ONSSA) is Morocco's national food safety authority, established in 2009 under the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests. ONSSA is responsible for food safety standards, veterinary health controls, and plant health inspection across Morocco's food production and export sector.
