Hanaharu Shuzo Co., Ltd. is a traditional Japanese sake brewery established in 1718 (Kyoho 3rd year), making it one of the oldest sake producers in the Aizu region of Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The brewery is dedicated to crafting sake that embodies the essence of Aizu, using locally sourced Aizu rice that is milled in-house by their own team of brewers. Their brewing philosophy centers on achieving sake with a gentle aroma, soft palate, clean flavor, and smooth finish.

The brewery offers a diverse lineup of sake varieties, including Junmai Daiginjo, Daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, and other seasonal and limited-edition expressions. Their products have received notable recognition, including a Gold Award at the 2026 Wine Glass Delicious Sake Awards and an Excellence Prize at the 2025 Tohoku Seishu Kanpyokai (Tohoku Sake Appraisal). Hanaharu also welcomes visitors through brewery tours available by reservation for individuals, families, and group tours alike.
