World Halal Council

The World Halal Council (WHC) is a global federation of halal certifying bodies established in 1999, dedicated to upholding integrity and consistency in halal certification worldwide. As a global Islamic religious organization, WHC unites halal certifiers across the globe to advance a transparent, ethical, and unified halal system — protecting Muslim consumers from fraudulent claims and promoting the growth of global halal trade.
