Halal Expo Philippines (HEP) is the country's flagship halal industry trade show, bringing together exhibitors, government agencies, halal certifiers, and B2B buyers from across ASEAN and the Middle East. Produced by Canadian trade-show operator The Expo Hut Inc. (the team behind Halal Expo Canada) in partnership with local agency Grace Exposition International, HEP is endorsed by six Philippine government agencies including the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF). The event covers halal food & beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, modest fashion, and certified products for export — positioned as the Philippines' platform to capture share of the $1.5 trillion global halal market.
For context on the host market — the Philippine Halal Export Development and Promotion Act, Mindanao's halal hub strategy, and OIC trade priorities — see our Philippines country profile.
Local exhibitors typically certify with IDCP, one of the Philippines' lead halal certifiers — the Islamic Da'wah Council of the Philippines, recognised across ASEAN halal-trade corridors.
