East Africa Halal Expo is a regional halal industry and investment event organized by Future Growth Forum (FGF), a regional investment and economic-development platform connecting Africa and the Middle East. The expo sits alongside FGF's East Africa Investment Nexus programme and is officially launched in partnership with Kenya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Affairs, positioning Kenya as a regional hub in the global halal economy. FGF's halal work spans Memoranda of Understanding with the Somali Bureau of Standards, the Pastoralists Parliamentary Group, the Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC), and a strategic partnership with the Global Halal Training Center.
“To be the leading platform for sustainable investment and innovation, fostering strong economic ties between Africa and the global market.”
“Unlock East Africa's economic potential by showcasing investment-ready projects across high-growth sectors (infrastructure, energy, technology, agribusiness), driving cross-border investment partnerships between governments and global investors, promoting ease-of-doing-business reforms, and building a robust network of thought leaders, investors and innovators committed to inclusive growth.”
This event offers both in-person and virtual attendance options. Can't make it to the venue? Join the live stream and virtual exhibition hall online.
