Your trip plan
A step-by-step plan for Tokyo — built backwards from the goal: arrive prepared, do the expo well, get back. Event dates: March 10, 2026 – March 13, 2026.

Visa & entry
If you need a visa, start the process well before March 10, 2026 — processing can take several weeks.
Japan grants visa-free short stays (up to 90 days) to many nationalities; others need a visa. Registering on Visit Japan Web before arrival speeds up immigration and customs.
General guidance only — always confirm requirements with the official embassy/consulate for your nationality.

Airport → venue & getting around
JR lines plus the Tokyo Metro and Toei subway reach everywhere; trains are punctual and frequent.
A Suica or Pasmo IC card works across all trains, subways and buses.
Taxis are excellent but expensive; the GO app helps.
