Your trip plan
A step-by-step plan for Kuala Lumpur — built backwards from the goal: arrive prepared, do the expo well, get back. Event dates: September 21, 2026 – September 22, 2026.

Visa & entry
If you need a visa, start the process well before September 21, 2026 — processing can take several weeks.

General guidance only — always confirm requirements with the official embassy/consulate for your nationality.

GHaS 2025 was hosted at two locations: Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC, Kuala Lumpur — Malaysia's largest exhibition centre) for the main programme, and Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur for selected VIP sessions and gatherings. Note: the DB row currently lists 'Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre' as venue — this may be a row-quality issue if 2026 venue stays as MITEC. Flag for editorial review.
Integrated rail — MRT, LRT, Monorail and the free GOKL city bus cover the centre, all interchanging at KL Sentral.
Touch 'n Go card (buy/reload at any station) works across all rail lines and the GOKL bus.
Use Grab rather than hailing street taxis — fixed up-front pricing avoids fare disputes.
Eat — halal near the venue
