Your trip plan
A step-by-step plan for Karachi — built backwards from the goal: arrive prepared, do the expo well, get back. Event dates: March 25, 2026 – March 27, 2026.

Visa & entry
If you need a visa, start the process well before March 25, 2026 — processing can take several weeks.
Pakistan offers an online visa system covering tourist and business-visitor travel for many nationalities, and a visa-on-arrival/e-visa facility for citizens of a number of countries; business visitors often travel on a business visa with a supporting invitation. Confirm your eligibility and apply on the official Pakistan online visa portal before travelling.
General guidance only — always confirm requirements with the official embassy/consulate for your nationality.

Airport → venue & getting around
Karachi is vast and traffic-heavy; a modern bus rapid transit network (Green Line and other BRT corridors) plus minibuses and rickshaws serve locals, but most business visitors rely on ride-hailing apps and hotel cars.
BRT corridors (Green Line) use a stored-value transit card bought at stations; for visitors, ride-hailing apps are usually simpler.
Skip flagging street taxis; use a ride-hailing app for a fixed in-app fare, or arrange a car through your hotel. Auto-rickshaws are cheap for short hops but agree the price first.
Eat — halal near the venue
