MIHAS (Malaysia International Halal Showcase) is the world's largest halal trade fair. Hosted by Malaysia's Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI) and organised by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), in association with the Halal Development Corporation (HDC) and the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), the show brings together exhibitors and trade visitors across 14 halal industry clusters spanning food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, Islamic finance, modest fashion, technology, logistics, and services. Held annually at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, MIHAS is positioned as a high-integrity, government-backed platform connecting global buyers and exporters with OIC markets and beyond.
“Beyond scale to substance — a high-integrity platform where global buyers and exporters can engage with confidence, built on three pillars: Shaping Trust (regulated-by-design product vetting), Pioneer Leadership (22 years of expertise plus Malaysia's institutional strengths), and Driving Resilience (AI-powered business matching).”

Muslim Traveller Guide
Kuala Lumpur is one of the easiest cities in the world for a Muslim business traveller. Malaysia is a Muslim-majority country, so halal food is the default rather than the exception, and prayer rooms (surau) are standard in malls, office towers and transport hubs. The main expo venues — the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in the city centre and MITEC near Jalan Duta — are both well served by rail and ride-hailing. English is widely spoken, and most hotels provide a qibla marker and a prayer mat on request.
